Here's a sight I found that has poems personifying love!
Often when love is personified it is described as a beautiful woman or creature, that does good.

My favourite poem from the site is "Messenger of Love":
Messenger of Love
Her voice channels the melody of Heaven.
God's gift and artistry,
everything about her is perfect.
She is the meaning of life.
