Explanation:

So when you have a paranthesis with ONE variable with an exponent and there's an exponent out of the bracket then multiply them, in this case :

(y³)⁵=y³^*5=y^15

Then take 15+4 = 19 so:

y¹5*y⁴= y¹5⁺4= y¹9
