When you raise a whole expression, x^n, to a power, you are effectively multiplying it by itself by n number of times. A common mistake in this process is to add four to the n but this is not correct. You, by raising 5n^4 to the fourth power, are doing this:

(5n^4)(5n^4)(5n^4)(5n^4)

From here its fairly simple, you just multiply 5 by itself 4 times and n^4 by itself 4 times.

From this you should get

5^4*n^(4*4)=625n^16
