How do you evaluate \frac { 2} { 5} \div \frac { 3} { 4} ?

pretty easy, just read it properly
it says 2/5 -:3/4 , you can read it as 2/5 "divided by" 3/4
now if you know basic maths you know that division is exact "reciprocal"(or inverse) of multiplication
:. 2/5 "divided by" 3/4 becomes 2/5 "multiplied by" 4/3
or 2/5xx4/3 i.e 8/15

mathematically,
2/5 -:3/4=(2/5)/(3/4)=2/5*4/3=8/15
