The factor of y = #2x^3+2x^2+12x# is #2x#(#x^2+x+6#)

Explanation:

It is possible to factor y = #2x^3 + 2x^2 + 12x#

So there are possible ways to factor this but let factor out the Greatest Common Factor. Now, we can see that they all are divisible by 2x because it will go back to the original equation of this line or whatever it is.

So you factor out 2x from the entire equation which leaves us

#2x#(#x^2+x+6#)

Now when multiplying this out, we get y = #2x^3 + 2x^2 + 12x# which is the same exact equation as the original.
