What is the Psychology behind Cyberbullying?

The psychology would break into two categories. The bully and the victim.

Explanation:

The bully would likely use cyberbullying due to a number of circumstances. I.e. the low criteria for an identity on the internet allows for people to hide their real identity. Which would protect their social status. This means that they would maintain a certain status above the victim and not risk the consequences of bullying.
The victim would likely be put under stress and anxiety due to the bullying. This leads to disorders such as depression, GAD, social anxiety and many others. These are reasons that over time the victim would turn to self harm and or suicidal thoughts. Which if unnoticed will lead to suicide depending on the level of bullying and the situation of the victim.
