How to find the area of triangle whose vertices are (3,-1),(2,7) and (-5,6)(3,1),(2,7)and(5,6) ?

The best way is called the Shoelace Formula:

A = 1/2 | 3(7) - (-1)(2) + 2(6) - 7(-5) + (-5)(-1) - 6(3) | = 57/2 A=12|3(7)(1)(2)+2(6)7(5)+(5)(1)6(3)|=572
