There is a formula that gives the n-term of a arithmetic sequence. Such formula is

#a_n=a_1+(n-1)d# where #a_1# is the first term, and #d# is the constant diference. In our case

#a_n=1+(n-1)2=2n-1#

The term 100 will be #a_100=2·100-1=199#
