Explanation:

Religion and Science are really complementary in human experience. They should not be in conflict. Conflicts only occur when one tries to assert authority in the realm of the other.

Whether a religious expression or a cultural myth or scientific theory, we can only attempt to make explanations that make sense. We do not know if our descriptions are reality, or even close. One key method of investigation or proof is by predicting something from a theory that has not yet been observed. Then, if a study or experiment observes that thing in fact, it lends support to the theory that predicted it.
