Explanation:
When the war in Europe ended in 1945 the Allies were in 2 basic camps, the Soviet Union and all the other allies. The Soviet Union never entirely removed their troops from the countries where their conquered the Nazi army. This was also the reason the became and East Germany and West Germany, as-well-as an East and West Berlin.
