Biophotographers (also known as Biomedicalphotographers or Biological Photograohers), produce medical or scientific images using advanced digital equipment.

Explanation:

In general a biophotographer documents organisms that are alive or that were once alive. Biophotography is very popular because doctors, students, researchers and patients want to visually see what is going on.

It is useful to capture an unexplainable medical anomaly, photographing an ordinary medical condition, snapping a unique natural phenomenon or simply manipulating an image to give doctors and researchers a new way to look at things.

A biophotographer also takes and produces still photos and motion pictures for people in healthcare professions and natural sciences and for the general public. These photos are often used to educate others in the health care profession, in the medical records of a patient, in research and as an illustrative example in medical textbooks.

Biophotographers usually have extensive knowledge in science, photography and computer applications.
