C-Students consuming the new sports drink travel more 'distance' on a treadmill than students consuming the control beverage

An increase in aerobic capacity means that the red-blood cells would be able to take in more oxygen from the air in the lungs. An increase in oxygen delivered to muscles will increase the rate of cellular respiration and theoretically make the test subject run faster and therefor further.

The hypothesis would be testing if the drink enhanced the performance or if its just the students belief that it will.
