For Boyle’s Law we are assuming a constant temperature. The volumes are directly proportional to the pressures in this case.
#(PV)_1 = (PV)_2#.

#V_2 = (P_1/P_2) * (V_1)#

#V_2 = (30/15) * 12 # = 24mL (you have to expand the container to reduce the pressure for a given number of gas moles)

IF you mean to remove molecules to reduce the pressure, then the question is not stated correctly, but the answer would be half as many molecules of oxygen would remain in the container.
