This is some messy/redundant syntax.

Explanation:

The "-" can be minuses (probably not, then you'd have a negative measurement of density!), or ranges (more likely), or something else I can't think of at the moment.

So the best way I think you can say this is we have a range of #(2.09 to 2.23g)/(cm^3)# density.

Last time I checked, density isn't measured in #cm^6# (what we'd get if we took the /cm3/cm3).
