This is some messy/redundant syntax.

The "-" can be minuses (probably not, then you'd have a negative measurement of density!), or ranges (more likely), or something else I can't think of at the moment.

So the best way I think you can say this is we have a range of $\frac{2.09 \to 2.23 g}{c {m}^{3}}$ density.

Last time I checked, density isn't measured in $c {m}^{6}$ (what we'd get if we took the /cm3/cm3).
