We all know that $R = \rho \ast L / A$

And $\rho$ is the property of the material.
That means $\rho$ depends on the material used.
So by changing material you are actually changing its value of $\rho$
This shows that increasing $\rho$ of material increases Resistance.
But we all know that.
$V = I R$
So $I \propto 1 / R$
So Increasing $\rho$ will decrease $I$(current)
We also know that increasing resistance decreases current.
