There is an emergence of the new, higher middle class, poor sanitation, and declining power and status of the aristocracy.

Explanation:

The Industrial Revolution first started in Britain because of the competition with other European countries, and the aristocracy was willing to cooperate with the merchant class. Industrializing certain industries eventually led to the point where there were factories owned by businessmen. Additionally, new inventions were made. Due to all of this, capitalism was born and the higher middle class became highly valued. Consequently, the aristocracy also lost power.

Those factories needed workers and this is where the labor class came in. However, because of all the new changes in society, there were no laws protecting the labor class. Members of this class suffered terrible living conditions and poor sanitation. With strikes and protests emerging, labor unions were engendered to protect these workers.
