There will be no change. The copper bob is more dense, so it will have more mass, but mass does not influence the period of a pendulum.


The formula for the period of a pendulum is

#T = 2\pi sqrt (l/g)#

Where T is the period in seconds, l is the length of the pendulum in metres and g is the acceleration due to gravity in #ms^(-2)#.

As you can see, the mass of the pendulum does not appear anywhere in this calculation.
