$\frac{P V}{T} = \frac{P V}{T}$

Let's assume pressure is 4, volume is 1, and temperature is 12. Keep in mind that while working with gases, these must be absolute values (Except volume, that doesn't change.)

$\frac{4 \cdot 1}{12} = \frac{x \cdot 1}{3}$

$\frac{4}{12} = \frac{x}{3}$

Simplify the fractions....

$\frac{1}{3} = \frac{x}{3}$

$x$ is one, or 1/4 what it was before.
