There is no reason why a moon can't have a natural satellite.

Explanation:

It is all a matter of scale. The sun has planets which have moons.

So, there is no reason why a moon can't have a moon of its own.

The biggest problem is that most moons are quite close to their parent planet. This means that the planet's gravity will destabilise the moon's moon's orbit quite quickly.

Moons can have moons for a short time. In out solar system there are no moons with moons.

The further away a moon is from the parent planet the more chance that it can have a moon with a stable orbit.
