How is what a physical change?
Explanation:
In general terms, a physical change involves no creation of new chemical species (no making or breaking of bonds to create new molecules or ions). So things such as changes of state (boiling of liquids, freezing of liquids) and mixing together of non reacting substances (e.g. mixing dry sodium chloride and dry sugar) would be physical changes.
