The model should inform your drawing. It is hard to think in three-dimensions. You know that each carbon on the ring has 2 substituents, which can be #"axial"# and #"equatorial"# with respect to the plane of the ring.

Such a treatment is termed #"conformational analysis"#, and bulky axial substitution tends to be disfavoured. We note that the axial and equatorial substituents of a cyclohexyl ring can be interchanged by a simple ring-flip.......the conformational isomer that is energetically preferred is the one that assigns the bulkier substituents to equatorial positions.......
