If you mean "is naphthalene an example of a compound that is similar to nitric acid?" then the answer is no. Naphthalene is a polycyclic aromatic compound, basically like two fused-together benzene rings.

Nitric acid, on the other hand, is an inorganic acid #HNO_3#, so an inorganic acid. No similarity to naphthalene at all.
