#r=sqrt(rcostheta+2)#

#=>r^2=rcostheta+2#

using the above transformations

#x^2+y^2=x+2#

#x^2-x+y^2=2#

complete the square

#(x-1/2)^2+y^2-1/4=2#

#(x-1/2)^2+y^2=9/4#
