Assuming a fair dice with each side labelled: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 there are therefore 3 even and 3 odd numbers of the six sides.

Therefore, on each roll there is a 3 in 6 or #3/6# or#0.5# or #50%# chance of rolling an even number.

Each roll is an independent event and has no impact on the chance of rolling an even or odd number on the next roll.
