What is the molality of a 1.3*g mass of HCl solution in water, that is 85% "w/w" with respect to the solute, and has a volume of 1*mL?

Well by definition, "molality"="moles of solute"/"kilograms of solvent."

Explanation:

And we have the data to perform this calculation.....and we work from a 1*cm^3 volume (whose mass is of course 1.3*g...)

We gots ((1.3*gxx85%)/(36.46*g*mol^-1))/(1.3*gxx10^-3*kg*g^-1xx15%)

=??*mol*kg^-1...

These data are unreasonable, and the max. concentration you can get for HCl is maybe 38% "w/w"...
