3, 3+5, 8+7, 15+9, 24+11 = 35, 35+13, 48 + 15.
I say "probably" because no finite string can fully define an infinite sequence.
It is possible that the wrong term is the 3, or the 48. I have assumed that there is a simple rule at work in this sequence.
