Explanation:

The "x" value is the angle (check to be sure if it is given in radians or degrees). The "y" value is the sine or cosine.

Locate the value on the "y" axis of the appropriate curve. Use a straightedge to accurately identify the "x" value corresponding to it. That is your desired angle, or inverse sine or inverse cosine, depending on the curve you use.

In practice, unless you are REALLY stuck on a deserted island and MUST know that value, go out and get a cheap calculator. A slide rule also works well with no additional power source.
