ALL of human interaction (history) is ultimately about resources.

Explanation:

"Economics" is not just money! In fact, money is always and only a "marker" for exchanged value of real goods or services.

The constant and continuing struggle to improve living conditions creates a competition for natural resources - the foundation of all real goods, and therefore, "economy". This competition results in conflicts between groups of people based on geographical regions (ethnicities are secondary, and often the result of geography rather than the other way around).

Thus, all of World History is the outcome of economic pressures and solutions in human affairs.
