A composite number is one that isn't prime. In the list of numbers from 90 to 100, the only prime number is 97. So our list of numbers is:

#90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 98, 99, 100#

The mean is the sum of the values divided by the count of the values:

#(90+91+92+93+94+95+96+98+99+100)/10=948/10=94.8#

The median of the values is the middle value. When we have an even number of values, we take the two middle ones and then take the mean.

Here the middle values are 94 and 95 (5 in from both sides). We now take the mean of these two numbers:
