Go back to the basic assumptions of Science, Biblical Christianity and Capitalism.

Explanation:

A. Science. Empirical Science does not conflict with Christian Values. Most scientists in the past used Christian values as part of the scientific process. Kepler and Newton kept searching for rational answers to scientific questions because they believed that the universe had been created by a rational God.

B. Enlightenment philosophers imposed an anti theistic bias on science. While the scientific method can only investigate natural causes the philosophy imposed of material realism forbid any belief in anything outside of natural causes.

C. Study empirical science it will make you a better Christian.(Biola Magazine Winter 2016) Look at the results of the supernovas, ( 1997) that show that the universe is expo anding at an ever increasing rate and therefore the universe can not be eternal, self existent, and the only reality that exists.

D. The Industrial Revolution is based on capitalism, The basic belief is that people are basically bad and that only competition will kept people honest and fair. The basic belief is consistent with Christian beliefs, but not Christian practice. While mankind wants to be good Mankind often ends up doing evil ( Romans 7) This does not give the Christian license to be selfish as the Industrial revolution advocates.

E. James tells us that true religion Christian values is to icare for the widows and orphans. Christ tells us that the truth will set us free. As Christians we need to seek the truth in both science and economics. The Christian values is to believe that the universe has a creator and therefore a purpose and value. Christian values is to believe that people are created in the image of God and all have value and dignity, and we need to treat them that way.

It is important to distinguish between Empirical Science and a philosophy of science based on the Enlightenment. It is also important to distinguish between the philosophy of the Industrial revolution and how that philosophy is carried out in practice.
