Athelets have got a high vagal tone, and function of vagus nerve is inhibitory to heart rate, that means it tries to minimise the heart rate and dominate it in that way.

Now,it is found that life span increases with decrease in heart rate, for example birds have got heart rate of around 450 beats/mts and lives for very small period w.r.t man, whereas heart rate for tortoise is about 25 beats/mts and lives for long.

Hence, definitely an athelete with low heart rate than a non athelete will live longer
