Let #FG = GH = x# cm

Then# EF = EH = ((2 *x) - 5)# cm

Given : perimeter of the kite P = 14 cm

We know #P = 2(GH + EF)#

#:. 2 * (x + (2x - 5)) = 14#

# 2 * (x + 2x - 5) = 14#

#2x + 4x - 10 = 14#

#6x = 14 + 10 = 24#

#FG = GH = x = 24 / 6 = 4#

#EF = EH = 2x - 5 = (2*4) - 5 = 3#

Measures of the four sides are
