Renal pelvis is a dialated portion lying at the beginning of the ureter,inside the central portion of the kidney and forms the part of urinary tract.

After joining of the collecting ducts,they form duct of Bellini,which once again joins together to form minor calyces,they again join to form major calyces.

Then these major calyces join with each other to form the renal pelvis,which lie in the central concavity of the kidney.
