Explanation:

first distribute each outside number on both ends to their inside numbers. you'll get 4x+6-10<6x-12 then combine like terms with 6 and 10 then you'll get 4x-4<6x-12 then subtract either 6x to 4x or the other way around. doesn't matter b/c you'll get the same answer. i did the 4x to 6x then i got: -4<2x-12 then add 12 to -4 then all you have to do it divide and you get your answer
