Due to the heat of the sun, the water evaporates from water bodies and goes up into the air by a process called #color(magenta)("evaporation")#. also plants contribute to it, when they lose water in the form of water vapor through a process called #color(magenta)("transpiration")#.

When the water vapor rises up, it condenses to form clouds by a process called #color(magenta)("condensation")#.

Then from the clouds the water vapor falls down to the earth in the form of rain, snow or hail by a process called #color(magenta)("precipitation")#.

From there the water flows into the streams and the to the oceans and rivers. and then evaporates from there to the sky again. this keeps the process going on....

This is called #color(red)("Water Cycle"). #
