Gravity is the attraction of one body to another body. A body at the center of the Earth is surrounded by the mass of the Earth. For every pebble of mass m a distance of s in one direction, there is a pebble of mass m a distance of s in the exact opposite direction. The attractions of the body at the center of the Earth toward those 2 pebbles cancel each other out. That is repeated all around that body. The net result is that the weight of that body is zero.
