# A ray of light strikes a plane mirror at an angle of 55° to the normal. What is the angle of reflection? What is the angle between the incident ray and the reflected ray?

The angle of reflection is ${55}^{\circ}$ and angle between the incident ray and the reflected ray is ${110}^{\circ}$.
Hence, as angle of incidence is ${55}^{\circ}$ angle of reflection too is ${55}^{\circ}$ and the angle between the incident ray and the reflected ray is ${55}^{\circ} + {55}^{\circ} = {110}^{\circ}$.
