On the other hand if a silver salt, say $\text{silver nitrate}$, were treated with sulfuric acid, $A {g}_{2} S {O}_{4} \left(s\right)$ would precipitate....
$2 A g N {O}_{3} \left(a q\right) + {H}_{2} S {O}_{4} \left(a q\right) \rightarrow A {g}_{2} S {O}_{4} \left(s\right) \downarrow + 2 H N {O}_{3} \left(a q\right)$
