Cape of Storms

Explanation:

The first modern rounding of the cape on the southern tip of Africa was by Bartolomeu Dias from Portugal. He called this cape Cabo das Tormentas or Cape of Storms.

John II of Portugal later renamed it to its modern name of "Cape of Good Hope" or Cabo da Boa Esperança because of the great optimism this route engendered by the opening of a sea route to India and the East.
