Assuming we are referring to operation for radiation of electromagnetic waves, wavelength #lambda#, frequency #nu# is related to velocity of light #c# as

#c=nulambda#
#=>lambda=c/nu# ..........(1)

Given length of antenna#=lambda/4#. Inserting in (1) above we get

#"Length of antenna"\ =(c/nu)/4#
#=>"Length of antenna"\ =c/(4nu)#

Taking #c=3xx10^8\ ms^-1# and inserting given values, we get

#"Length of antenna"\ =(3xx10^8)/(4xx500xx10^3)#
#=>"Length of antenna"\ =150\ m#
