Find the ratio?

Ratio of the error in the volume to the mean volume (delta V/V) in term of the corresponding error in the measurement of the diameter delta D and delta h. Known V = piD^2(h/4)

Given

#V = piD^2(h/4)#

Taking #log# of both sides we get

#logV = log(piD^2(h/4))#
#=>logV = logpi+2logD+logh-log4#

From theory of errors differentiating both sides with respective variables we get

#=>(DeltaV)/V = 2(DeltaD)/D+(Deltah)/h#
