# Find the sub-duplicate ratio of 9:16 ?

May 10, 2018

$3 : 4$

#### Explanation:

Sub-duplicate ratio of any ratio is ( as the name suggests ) only partially duplicate.

For eg. $16 : 81 \to 4 : 9$

The sub-duplicate ratio of $16 : 81$ is $4 : 9$.

For the first few seconds you would think that $\frac{16}{81} = \frac{4}{9}$

but this is actually wrong. This is how the name comes, the sub-

duplicate ration looks equivalent ( equal ) to the given ratio but is

actually very different thatn that of the given ratio.
