Because he thought he could save more Jews.

Explanation:

At the end of the film, Schindler feels guilty that he didn't make more of an effort to save more Jews from extermination. He cries out that they car he is driving could have been sold to pay more bribes to Nazi officials. He claims it could have saved 10 or 11 more people. He also looks at his Nazi pin. He says that the pin is encrusted with gold and could have been used to save 1 or 2 more people. He tells Stern that he also wasted a lot of money before hand and that money could have been used to save more people as well.
