Hi friends, I have this as an Alkene, and is the correct name Ethyl Propene?
Also, when do you use numbers? Like, is this one just Ethyl Propene, or should it be 1 Ethyl Propene? When do you use numbers? THANK YOU

This is really the only structure that could satisfy what you're proposing to name this molecule,
And still, it would be called, 2-methylbutene.
If you're referring to this compound,
The correct name would be, pent-2-ene.
Numbers in nomenclature are locants of specific features of the molecule.
