The angiospermic plants are advance group of the vascular plants in the Plant Kingdom. They are able to survive in adverse conditions. On the basis of the duration of their life span, they are commonly classified into the following major groups.
1. Annuals-Complete their life in only one season e.g., wheat, rice etc.
2. Biennials- Complete their complete life in two seasons or one year e.g., sugarcane, Cajanus etc.
3. ‎Perennials-Complete their life in more than one year e.g., guava, mango etc.
