Very huge masses when gravitation ally collapsed into very minute size become black holes.
Explanation:
Even though its size is very small it have very high gravitational attraction and does not allow even light to escape from it..We can not see them but their presence can be found by indirect methods like speed of orbiting stars or x rays when matter falls into them.
