How can I change chart size and position in Excel?

You should be able to click on the chart and move it to different regions of the spreadsheet. If you click on the border in the corner you can re-size the chart.

You can also copy a completed chart and paste it into a Word document and resize it there. Depending on which version you are working with you may or might not be able to make edits to the chart after you've moved it into Word.
