By changing the volume of the container........

Explanation:

Or by changing the molar quantity of the gas under question. Or by increasing the temperature.......

All of this relates to the old Ideal Gas Equation.....

#P_1=(n_1RT)/V#

Of course the addition of an inert gas to the container will NOT change #P_1#. Why not?
