How did climate have a effect on india's development?

Due to the climatic factors the economic development of India is being hampered in the following ways-

Explanation:

  • FLOOD- It can lead in high loss in property and life. It may also lead to deforestation. It is also eroding the soil in which the farmers are growing their crops.
    It is caused because of the man-made resources,urbanization etc.

  • EXTREME HEAT- Due to the smokes coming from the factories,vehicles; due to the release of harmful gases like chlorofluorocarbons(CFCS) our environment is getting hotter leading to Global warming.
    Due to the smoke coming from the factories and the vehicles people are suffering from several diseases like Asthma and cough.

  • DROUGHTS- It occurs as the people waste water.They pollute the water bodies,making the source of the water less.
    Due to this in many areas of India people are not getting adequate amount of water.

  • MELTING OF THE GLACIER- Due to the melting of the glaciers in the Himalayas the level of the sea is rising,which gives rise to the floods.
    It causes damages both the life and property.
