Climate effects vegetation because depending on what plant your
growing, different plants can die if in a climate they are not used to.

Explanation:

If you get a cactus and put it in the North Pole it won't grow. Different types of plants need certain types of temperatures, based on where the plants originate from. If they originate close to the equuator they will need a warmer climate. If not they are made to grow in a cooler climate.
